What Happens When We Smoke ?
Mouth and Nose
Lips dry up, bad smell; sense of smell is lost; irritation in throat; causes throat and jaw cancer.
Bronchitis
The Bronchi are damaged as tar from smoke sticks to them.
Alveoli
They lose their efficiency as air inhaled consists of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nicotine, lungs cannot function properly.
Trachea
it shrinks with regular smoking, thus less passage for breathing.
Heart
Heart rate is increased as nicotine (poison) adds up with blood. Kidneys and liver also get damaged.
